Here is another Sundance documentary that I didn't get the chance to see in January. This is the story of the real life "horse whisperer" Buck Brannaman, which the Robert Redford movie was loosely based off of. It follows Buck through his traumatic youth, and how that has helped him to better understand himself, and the people and horses he teaches. I absolutely ate it up, as I knew I would. It won the Audience Award at Sundance this year, and it was no surprise to see why. Here's the trailer, I'll let the movie speak for itself. It's still showing at the Broadway Theater here is Salt Lake.
