Hey Team,

So, just to let you know, I haven't been to the gym consistently in almost a month. If you've read this blog, all I've freaking blogged about for 8 months is going to the gym almost 6 days a week. When I got busy with my overnighter, housesitting, and just generally staying out too late to get up in the morning to go before work, the visits just stopped. It's not that I don't want my pants to be looser, or I don't want to take care of myself, I just think I lost sight of why I was going. I was just.....going. So I'm trying to rally the inner troops and get back to the gym, but it may be August before that happens. And that is okay. I don't care if I'm the same size the rest of my life, I just care that I have a great way to relieve stress and have some time to myself each day.

Here's to getting up again,

  1. Love your honesty, woman. That's how I feel too. Sometimes I go because I want to be skinnier, but for some reason that motivation never lasts for me. What keeps me going for longer periods of time is when I do it because I want to feel good. I think it comes from a better thought process (or something?) so it gets me going more often. You can do it! Also, so glad I got to see you at my wedding. Let's play/catch up soon, yes?
